In our factories, we use the RINGTREAD process to achieve new tyre quality that our customers can rely on 100%.
In contrast to classic cold retreading processes, in which a pre-vulcanised tread strip is applied, we vulcanise prefabricated, seamless tread rings onto the carcass in the RINGTREAD process. This ensures that the RINGTREAD tread lies perfectly on the carcass and that the tyre is virtually vibration-free.
The absence of joints reduces rolling resistance and enables slow and even wear, significantly reducing the cost per kilometre and the overall price of the tyre.
